Marimekko says it aims to use certified suppliers with valid standards or certificates that are internationally recognised. These include the Social Accountability SA 8000 standard and the Business Social Compliance Initiative (BSCI) monitoring system as well as GOTS. It is not clear what percentage of factories/annual volume is certified however. |
